We celebrate the qualities that make us unique and the shared
purpose that brings us together. Our purpose is your success.
Chief Executive Officer
Kyle started as the company’s first sales person and is now responsible for all company business. Under Kyle’s leadership, NAVIS has become the hospitality industry’s leading sales and marketing optimization company. Kyle’s aim is to build an “Amazing Company,” one that blends strong core values with high-performance. He takes great pride in the difference NAVIS makes with our clients, and with our employees, who’ve voted us one of The Oregonian’s Top Workplaces for four consecutive years. When Kyle’s not attending his daughter’s collegiate volleyball matches, he’s outside enjoying Central Oregon’s natural beauty.
Chief Financial Officer
Fueling a fast growing company takes vision. And wisdom. Gary’s financial acumen, cultivated over many years as CFO at BendBroadband, Turnaround Consultant with Hamstreet & Associates, President at Cort Software, and CFO at Orcom Solutions, is helping NAVIS accelerate growth. In addition to leading all things finance, he contributes regularly in leadership, strategy, and operations. Gary graduated with honors from Wake Forest University and earned his MBA from Columbia University. When he’s not working, Gary’s likely standing waist deep in the Deschutes River casting flies for steelhead.
Vice President, Sales
Michelle arrived at NAVIS in 2007, bringing more than 15 years of valuable on-site lodging experience. As former Director of Sales and Marketing at Mount Bachelor Village Resort, she was a NAVIS “power user,” dramatically increasing the resort’s revenue. With first-hand experience leveraging NAVIS’ suite of solutions and services, Michelle leads the NAVIS Sales team with a crystal clear understanding of our platform’s power. She’s also a frequent speaker at industry events such as the Google Travel Conference, HSMAI, VRMA and Preferred Hotel Group. Michelle loves traveling/exploring, big red wines, and being surrounded by family and friends.
Vice President, Human Resources
An extraordinary culture depends on an extraordinary human resources program. An extraordinary HR program leads to employees voting NAVIS a “Top Workplaces” award-winner four consecutive years. Before joining NAVIS, Jim dedicated more than 20 years in HR at renowned companies like Starbucks, Altrec.com, and Microsoft. At NAVIS, Jim and his team are responsible for growing and retaining our talented team, and nurturing our fantastic culture. A really big job at our fast growing company. Jim loves the outdoors, having been a sponsored, professional rock climber back in the day.
Vice President, Operations
Matt’s put his motto “make it so or make it better” to work at NAVIS for two decades and has many successes to show for it. His dedication to world-class service is especially evident in RezForce, our after-hours and overflow call center, which he and his team have grown from the ground up to now capturing more than $100 million annually for our clients. Matt’s responsible for the delivery of all company products and services, which also includes leading our Client Advocate, Professional Services, Implementation, and Education teams. Outside the office, if Matt isn’t training martial arts, he’s in the mountains fishing, hunting and/or snowboarding.
Vice President, Product Solutions
The combination of a rapidly evolving marketplace and a growing list of innovative solutions mandates someone watch our roadmap closely. Understanding market and use trends, identifying and prioritizing product requirements, and defining the user experience are the responsibility of Amber and her team of Product Managers. Before joining NAVIS, Amber held executive leadership positions for such notable brands as Wyndham Vacation Rentals, Instant Software (now HomeAway), and TravelStorm. She also brings valuable hands-on experience, having served as Director of Rental Management for Seascape Resorts where she was directly responsible for creating and growing the Resort Vacation Rental Division.
Vice President, Engineering
As the new vice president of engineering, Vince is responsible for all product development efforts as well as the SaaS hosting of NAVIS’ products. He brings a wealth of product software experience (25 years), including 15 years in enterprise SaaS software. Vince has spent most of his career in leadership roles, relentlessly pursuing flawless execution and compelling results. Most recently, he was vice president of engineering at Evisions, Inc. and before that vice president of engineering at Webtrends, Inc. In both roles, he led the development of world-class, enterprise SaaS solutions. Kenkel’s considerable experience will help him lead the strategic direction of NAVIS’ technology portfolio and guide the build-out of its product roadmap, broadening and improving NAVIS’ suite of products and related services.
Director, Client Success
The love our clients express for us is due in big part to Brise and his team of Client Advocates. As Director of Client Success, Brise leads a team of 20 top-notch hospitality consultants with more than 280 combined years of experience. Many are former hotel and vacation rental executives and some are MBAs, but all of them know how to best use our solutions to drive more performance and more profit. The hundreds of millions of dollars in incremental revenue they help our clients capture each year is testament to the value they deliver. Brise holds a BA in Business Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University and an MBA from Concordia University.
Evangelizing the NAVIS brand in a way that engages hoteliers, vacation rental professionals and our staff falls to Jeff and his marketing team. Their focus is on simplifying our complex technology solutions into a single, simple message that resonates; then crafting the innovative strategies that build our brand while generating sales leads. Jeff has more than 25 years of marketing experience in emerging technologies, consumer products and B2B services. He holds a BS in Management from Bentley College, an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and is Pragmatic Marketing Certified. He started at NAVIS in Sales, and uses his first-hand insights of how we solve hospitality business challenges in marketing every day.
